Enclosed Vacuum Conveying for Powders and Dry Bulk Materials
Moving powders and dry bulk materials shouldn’t mean airborne dust or conveyor lines that fight your plant layout. Hapman’s vacuum conveying systems use airflow to pull material through an enclosed line from the pickup point to a filter/receiver, where it’s separated from the conveying air and discharged into mixers, blenders, hoppers, or other process equipment.
Because the line runs under negative pressure, leakage tends to draw air in rather than push product out, and conveying lines can be routed around existing equipment. Whether you need a compact vacuum conveyor for a tight layout or a sanitary, quick-clean vacuum conveying system that can be configured as a dense phase pneumatic conveying system for gentler handling, Hapman engineers the solution around your material and process. Explore our two vacuum conveyors below.
MiniVac™ Vacuum Conveyor
A compact vacuum conveying system for dry powders, granular materials, and small pellets. An integral regenerative blower generates the vacuum, so you don’t need plant air or a separate compressor to convey material. MiniVac moves product up to 100 feet with up to four elbows, and tool-less side access makes filter changeover simple. Need to fit under a low ceiling? Choose the Low Profile model. Handling combustible dust? The E-Line is built for it.
IntegriVac™ Vacuum Conveyor
A modular, quick-clean vacuum conveyor engineered around your material and process. Sanitary quick-release connections support fast, one-person disassembly, and Herding® filtration separates fine particles down to 0.5 micron with a filter that can be washed and sterilized to 250°F. Configure IntegriVac for 100% pneumatic operation or with electric vacuum and controls, and tune conveying from dilute through semi-dense and dense phase to suit your product.
